Developing a Songwriting Practice (Molly + Sally) 

A group discussion of the process of developing a songwriting routine. We will delve into the different phases of the creative process - gathering inspiration, assembling ideas into songs, and seeking feedback. The workshop will include various strategies for pushing yourself out of a creative slump. 

The ins and outs of duo life (Molly + Sally)

This workshop will explore the duo form and how to craft the fullest sound possible with two instruments and voices.  We’ll talk about different styles of harmony but place the most emphasis on equally featured vocal lines.  Additionally, we’ll discuss co-writing.

Modernizing the Clawhammer Banjo (Sally) 

An overview of blending clawhammer banjo with modern impulses to create a more adaptable sound. We will talk about developing a unique style of banjo that works across genre lines. 

Astrology 101 for Musicians (Molly)

This workshop will share resources for exploring our astrological birth charts and how our creative drives and capacities show up within them.  We’ll talk about the influence of generational planets on generational songwriting, as well as how to plan for bumpy astrological transits on tour.
