Based in Oakland, California The Westones are an all-star collective featuring members who have toured with Dirtwire, Con Brio, Smoked Out Soul, Afrolicious, Midtown Social and more. Born in 2024 out of a weekly residency in Oakland, The Westones built their sound in front of a local crowd, honing a groove-driven style that’s equal parts dance party and soul revival.
Their shows are fueled by joy and connection—audiences often say one of the best parts of a Westones set is watching how much fun the band is having together on stage. Since then, they’ve recorded their debut EP at Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco, mesmerized audiences at the legendary Fillmore, Concerts at Commons Beach in Lake Tahoe, and shared bills with heavy-hitters including the New Mastersounds, Joe Marcinek, Robert Randolph and Diggin Dirt.
The Westones have quickly become an in demand band, winning over audiences at Joshua Tree Music Festival, Golden Road Gathering, Same Same But Different Festival, High Sierra Music Festival and Down to Funk Festival.
